RTA Update 12/8/12
Today was an okay day. I didn’t go to sleep until 4:00 A.M. The time I woke up was at 3:00 p.m. Shortly after waking up I took my medicine for the sinus infection that has been keeping me home. I got dressed and accompanied my Mom to the mall to buy some printer ink and other office supplies.
After we left the mall we went to KFC/LJS to get some dinner for the 3 of us. The food was decent though I was feeling agitated for the greater part of the day. I felt very jittery as if I was taking phentermine (a dietary supplement). I did not know why I felt that way. I didn’t have anything high in caffeine or salt that could raise my blood pressure.
I decided I was going to lay down and relax by watching some television. Around 8 p.m. I felt parched and I decided to walk to the corner store to get some drinks and a couple of snacks. At this time I still felt this jittery feeling. When I walked I felt this sensation of feeling the blood moving and a sound of a moracca with bead being shook every so often. I quickly purchased the Ice teas and snacks and walked home not to stay in the cold for too long.
I quickly settled back in and I started to watch some more tv and Install windows 8 on my laptop. The install went fine. I had some issues with the drivers but being the computer tech I am I was able to quickly sort through the bugs and get the laptop working correctly.
During the time I was installing windows and watching TV the high anxiety feeling still persisted. I went to my mom to explain what was going on and I took my Blood Oxygen Levels, my sugar and blood pressure readings. My sugar was normal considering I had some gummy bears, the blood oxygen levels were at 92% and my blood pressure was high.
My mom said I was having either a panic or anxiety attack. I walked outside to get some fresh air to relax and calm down. I have gotten this feeling before. Sometimes at work after a very bad call or if something bad has happened, however, it would only last 10-20 minutes at most. This was going on for more than 3 or 4 hours.
I took my evening medicine and decided I was going to watch some tv. I ordered Marvel Avengers and Watched it in its entirety. The movie was great. It was well done and I loved all the continuity they had between Thor, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Captain America. It was a good movie and I know I will be adding it to my collection some time in the future.
Other than that I am still feeling that jittery feeling. My Blood pressure is still high. I am thinking I am going to go to bed now to see if I can rest it off. I will see how things are when I wake up. I think I may need to see my doctor to find out what is going on and what could be causing this to happen. But until then I think I am going to sleep.
Good night RTA
