RTA Update 2/10/13

It has been a while since my last post. The primary reason why I haven’t been posting lately is because I have been in the process moving into a new house. We are about 90% done moving into the new house and the last 10% is being a pain in the rear end. We just got hit with 18 inches of snow with “Winter Storm Nemo” and that put a kibosh moving more boxes and for me to set up my home network.

Now it is the mad dash to get everything out of the apartment and transported to the new house. There are many things to do. I have to move all my computer equipment which consists of 6 switches,  3 routers, 11 computers, a ps3, wii, wii-U, printer,  3 servers and ip camera., not to mention the computer monitors. televisions, cable boxes, modems and other personal belongings.  I will be having a moving company move all the large furniture which consists of a large wooden desk with over head cabinets, 2 beds, 1 hospital bed, TV Entertainment center, dressers, couch,  wire racks, arcade cabinet (Work In Progress) and dining room table.

There is still work I need to do before we are fully moved in. I have to run all new coax and cat6 cabling within the house. I need that done before the cable install on Friday 2/15/13. I think things will be close. Its time to run like hell to get things running.

Other than that over the past couple of days I haven’t been feeling all to well. My throat is hoarse and this weather is not doing well on my back. But I got to keep on moving on. It is time for me to get going. Time is of the essence. Good day everyone.
